Being born on April Fools' Day is not a prefered
start to life, but you won't see me complaining.
Just do not think I'm pranking you when you get
a birthday invitation.
Preschool and First Wrestling Season
For preschool I attended Olentangy Shanahan Special
Needs Preschool due to my minor childhood speech
impediment. During this time I also started
wrestling as an Olentangy Little Brave.
Graduated Elementary School
My first two years of elementary school I
went to Olentangy Arrowhead Elementary School.
Then Olentangy opened a new elementary school
near my house, called Johnnycake Cornors Elementary
School.
Middle School Sports
As a seventh grader at Berkshire Middle School
another new school in the Olentangy School
District. I was eligible for school ran sports,
one of the school sports available was wrestling.
First Introdution to Coding
While I have always been interested in how things worked
as well as math, it was not until middle school when I finally
wrote my first program in a web design class. That class gave
me my first glimpse of how the internet and computers are designed.
Graduated Middle School
Though, both elementary and middle school classes
were very easy and always scored in the top
precentages on standardized tests. Although, what
was to come was not going to be as easy.
Freshmen Year of High School
During my first year of high school
I took my first class in computer
graphics and made the junior varsity
wrestling team. I made podium every
tournament I went to that year.
Sophmore Year of High School
After a successful freshmen wrestling season,
I then tried out for varsity my sophmore year and made it.
Within that same year I got a job working at Panera Bread.
Junior Year of High School
With sights set on college and graduating I decide to
apply to go to Delaware Area Career Center
to study computer programing, for my last two years
of high school. Also that year competed for the
Ohio High School State Championship and made it all the
way to districts.
Skills USA Mystic Mazes
Representing DACC at Skills USA Ohio State
Championship me and two other peers created a
3D first person sword puzzle adventure game
called Mystic Mazes.
With a great GPA and ACT score I achieved the goals I had set.
For the rest of my high school career still ahead of me, I set my sights on being
a wrestling state qualifier and going for nationals in video game design.
High School Graduation
In my final wrestling season I made it within one match from my goal of state
qualifer, but at DACC I made it to Business Professionals of America's National Competition
for me and my peers STEM game called Mars Mission.
I decided to attend Shawnee State University
to follow my passion for game design and computer
programing by enrolling in their Game Engineering and
Computer Programing bachelor’s degree.
Larp Quest
For my first college game I made a top down
tile based 2D shooter in Python using the Pygame
library. This was my first time creating a game
without a game engine.
Sophmore year was my first time I had been
truly challenged at school. Classes Like
Computer Graphics show me how complex software
can be.
Descent of the Viglant
Shawnee State Universty offers two video game
focused degrees the "coders" and "artists." An artist had a game idea and with the help of another coder
we created a demo of the game and won the SSU Game Design Competetion.
From RealTime Interative to Networking and
Communications. In RealTime we studied game
engines such as Unity and Unreal. In Networking
and Comunications we worked with Arduino Unos to
communicate and send data over wire and radio.
First Software Development Job
Over the summer in-between my Junior and Senior
year of college I got hired at Seccuro Group
out of Durango, CO. Here I worked as an IT
Engineer, I also worked for a sibling company
called All Aboard Enterntainment working as a full stack developer
creating C# APIs and React.
Senior Year of College
My final year of college with courses such as:
Automata, Optimizations, Artifial Intellagence,
